Today's goal...WALK. With all the extra weight, walking hasn't been very enjoyable. My knees hurt, my ankle hurts..WHINE WHINE WHINE, but I'm puttin' those shoes on and heading out the door today. It's nice and cool (I live in Central Florida), and I will enjoy it more. Naturally my puppies LOVE it, and I think I'm going to drag my hubbie out too. Hopefully as I lose pounds,walking and exercise will be more enjoyable.

I lost another pound this week! wooHOO!
Today's mantra...One pound at a time, one day at a time...
I think the testimonials in the books can set one up for disappointment - I mean most of those folks dropped weight like crazy. But my doctor tells me losing weight at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week is the goal, so I am right on track.
Just these 5 pounds have made a difference in how I feel, and I have more energy. I can feel a difference in my clothes too, so those are all successes.

This is actually my second week. I lost 4.5 pounds last week, a great start for me. Now we're off to week 2 of phase one. My challenge this week is that I will be travelling on business. I'll need to order carefully.
