So I finally hit (over) a month sober from alcohol! Five weeks for ED :) I'm exceptionally proud of myself and trying my very hardest to focus on sobriety and health more than anything. The weight loss truly is an ancillary benefit (albeit a pretty significant one lol). As such, this small loss is still a welcome and exciting development. It's extremely rewarding to be feeling and looking my best. I'm so thrilled to be on this journey and thank you all for your enormous show of support on my last entry! You guys rock! Onward and upward, friends :D

All I can say is "yay"! lol I've been waiting for what feels like FOREVER to make it out of this weird plateau/slump in loss. However, that's not the biggest win that comes with this weigh-in. I'm officially a month clean from ED behaviors!!! Not only that, but I'm also fast approaching a month sober from alcohol! It's been what feels like an age since I've been here. Realistically, I guess it's been three whole years, almost exactly. Needless to say, I'm rather ecstatic. It's been very hard work, but (I'm proud to say) also very worth it.
On the note of weight loss, I went honest to God clothes shopping for the first time in a VERY long time today and was shocked at how much body mass I'd lost. I was nowhere close to the size I expected or thought I could be. Part of that is definitely my still, unfortunately, warped body image, but the other part is the pure exciting aspect of this journey. Either way, I got a lovely dress out of it so I'm not complaining.
Anyways, ramble over, have this silly post gym selfie plus my sobriety progress :)

So. I'm back again. It's been awhile and I've certainly returned with a sense of purpose. Some things happened that I won't get into, but that have resulted in a change for the better when it comes to the issues I've been struggling with for all these years. All in all, here I am again, cautiously optimistic. Here's to a healthier future, wish me luck!
