Today is my birthday AND the last day of the Weight Loss Challenge that I've been participating in since September 1st. I lost a total of 7 pounds! I stayed exactly on par with what my goal was, so I am happy about that! I finished in 3rd place out of 21 people! I am VERY happy about that! The Top 2 women did a very strict keto diet, whereas I just focused on my portion sizes, along with no fried or fatty foods, as well as low sugar! I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Friday!!!

Weigh Day! We have 1 more week until the end of the challenge! I was in 4th place last Friday... maybe I've moved into the Top 3 today?! Would be nice! Anyway, I'm happy with my progress! I've stopped counting calories and I just choose healthy foods when I'm hungry, with the occasional "junk food" item lol! When I was counting calories and eating the recommended RDI, I was stalling on the weight loss, or it would be very minimal, like .1 or .2 ... once I relaxed and just ate, the weight is consistently coming off now! Anyway, it's Friday, yay, and my children will have Monday and Tuesday off from school, so it's a nice, long weekend for us! May even take them to the corn maze or pumpkin patch!!!

Wow! After a week of cake (son's birthday), fast food, lots of snacking, and no working out, I managed to lose almost 3 pounds!! I'm very surprised but quite happy!! This past week has been extremely stressful and I let it get the best of me, but my results have me motivated to make better choices and finish this weight loss challenge strong!!

Gained almost a pound this past week. I couldn't work out due to a 5 day migraine and LOTS of stress. I don't really like that I didn't lose anything, even with my healthy eating, but I'm happy that I didn't see crazy numbers on the scale today! Today was the 1st day without the migraine, so I'm hoping it stays like that for a while...I want to work out again! 😊

I've cut calories this week and did Zumba and walks, but only lost an ounce. Not too pleased.
