Yesterday I was visiting in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. I used to live there, but I moved away 10 years ago, so it was nice to go back to visit.

Due to my visit, I was eating out in a brilliant French restaurant called Cote. I tried to choose a nice, but still more or less healthy choice from their robust French flavors. Of course it did not apply for the desert, so I made sure I did not over indulge myself.

I had a very nice Potato, leek and celeriac soup for first course, then chicken, endive and baby gem salad with Roquefort cheese, walnuts, French beans, croutons and a mustard dressing for second course. I could not skip their desserts, so I had a warm vanilla and rum canale (Bordeaux style caramelized pastry) served with berry compote and Creme Chantily. I do not really know how much calories I was eaten, but I guess it was not over 1000 kcal and it was my main food source yesterday.

I enjoyed this day very much, though I was walking a lot and I had my worst high heel boots on me, so my boots were killing me, but I did not give up. :)
