Starting something new as of today, February 1, 2012. I feel like my weight loss goals were actually hurting me because I wanted to lose so much weight in such a small time period. I'm going to just focus on little bits at a time, not set an actual goal in pounds, but just see what I've lost by Easter. I have a little over two months, and I feel like it will really help me to not say 'I want to be x pounds by then'. I'm just going to really focus on my dieting and exercising. Also, I've decided that I am not going to weigh myself more than once a week, I think that was hurting me also. I weighed myself this morning (heaviest I've EVER been, actually), and I will weigh myself every Wednesday, maybe even every two Wednesdays. I started working out again last night, tried something new- yoga. I will feel much better once I get into a good workout and eating routine. I think now I am overweight enough for that little something to snap in my head that will make me commit to this weight loss for the long haul. I'm disgusted with myself and I will do anything to change that. Hoping for the best..

havent been following my diet much the past few days.. i guess its tough around the holidays. we have a holiday party at work today and i am going to try to just eat little tiny bits of the bad stuff. that is at least one thing i noticed, that even when i am eating badly, my portions are 1/2 as small as they used to be. hopefully after christmas i can get back on track and be under 150 by my birthday on 1/13.

So I've only been trying to lose weight for about 9 days now, and I've lost around 6 pounds already.. but, I know that most of that is just excess water weight. And as ridiculous as this is this soon into a weight loss plan, I am extremely discouraged. I look at myself and am disgusted! I just really hope I can stick with my plan for once and get to looking amazing - and stay that way!
