I bought one of those Yoga Balls to start working my abdomen...
First workouts are brutal...yes, I will do it again, but who knew I had so many tired and un-used muscles? Did I mention that they are all screaming at me?
I know, it gets better...but wow, motivating myself for something so painful is hard! LOL
How long before I see some change? I don't expect it today..I just don't know how long it usually takes to see results from a workout program 3 times a week coupled with Weight Watchers?
Is a month too hopeful to see results?

Working out. I wish I could get started. I think I have cleaned every part of my house to avoid the Gazelle. I LOVE the workout once I am there...it is just the getting started that is so hard.
Baby steps.

Ok, so week 2...I filled my fridge with good foods and have found it easier in the last few days to find meals and put them together with little effort. I am sticking to the plan...except for the fact that I am unable to eat all my points in a day.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have heard that if I don't eat all of my points that my body will go into fat storing mode instead of fat burning mode...I don't want to screw this up...anyone have suggestions?

Weigh in #1 - Lost 4.2 Lbs!
Ok, one week down, 12 to go...
When you join weight watchers @ work, they ask that you set a goal of 10% of your weight to lose within the 13 weeks. If I can keep this up, then I will meet the goal.
I am 37. I have struggled with my weight for my whole life. As far back as I can remember, my Mom was adjusting my portions or watching my sweets. I have been on my own for 20 years now and been on a million crash diets....it is really only this past week that I have actually felt confident that I was eating right.
I see a change in lifestyle coming and it excited me. I am not only eating healthy, but I will be able to get my energy level up so I can go back to ice hockey. I miss it terribly.
This is it, it feels good, it feels real.
This time it is going to stick.
