Warning.. TMI post :) I think I may have finally found out why I'm constipated all the time. For me constipation is severe and relentless... I think it's dairy. I stopped eating dairy starting Monday. My last dairy was Sunday night. Since then I have been going #2 every day. Normal for me was once a week if I was lucky. I made the mistake of taking the max dose of a laxative yesterday thinking like all the other times it wouldn't work.. Well. It did... Wonderfully... I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 4 pounds since yesterday thanks to said laxative. Hopefully I can keep this up and the constipation will go away.
I also fought the urge to eat constantly after dinner last night. I've had a problem with that lately. I want to eat right and I do good during the day. After dinner is another story. I want to eat constantly. I fought the urge and read a book instead. If I can keep this up I'll be back to losing weight instead of gaining. Now to start exercising. Since my legs are doing better I'm going to start my walk/run program again.

Along with dairy I'm starting to think I'm allergic/sensitive to sweeteners like in diet soda. I've tried multiple times to give up soda but it's very hard. I have a serious love affair with it.. Now that I think it might be causing me to get sick... That's a whole different ball game.. I'm currently working on cutting down so I can stop completely. I'm going to continue to go dairy free because that's an issue as well but now I'm working on cutting out soda and other artificial sweeteners as well.
I'm just trying to figure out what exactly is causing me to feel the way I do. I'm thinking it's all mostly food related. It's just a guessing game figuring out what the culprit is.
