Up again 2 pounds. Still thrilled that I lost the initial 20, it does keep me motivated to continue eating better now. Last night my daughter and her girlfriend went to Outback and brought me home the dessert sampler, LOL! I'm parcelling it out to hubby and yes, I will eat some of it. Also last night hubby went to Outback for us and brought home prime rib with sides. I ate the salad and choked down a serving of mixed veggies. It filled me up. I'm proud of myself for that. Hope to move past this gain of 2 pounds.

I am struggling with appetite, I really don't feel like eating. This may be attributable to pain from surgeries, medication changes etc. So it isn't a healthy weight loss as far as I'm concerned. My B/P was up, my blood sugar was up. B/P back under control with very good readings. Going back in for blood sugar test next week. I have started walking, only a few times so far but the block and a half feel pretty good. Depression makes it hard to be active and have a decent eating routine. I'm aware though of changes, doing what my docs are saying. Am taking a narcotic pain releiver everyday and that's worrisome on it's own. I'm weaning slowly (with doctors okay) to reach a dose that relieves pain but lets me remain alert. So all of these things are affecting my weight loss, I may get disheartened but am not deterred. My big task is to try to get eating again. I know what to do, sometimes it's just hard to do it. Still taking Calcium twice a day, Fish oil twice a day and a multivitamin once a day. I can tell that these additions have really helped. After 2 years of being on disability I have 2 job interviews this week. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. I know that I will appear better than when I weighed 180, and have a great interview outfit that my daughter bought me :)

Very stressed lately, had surgery, bought a house and need to start getting ready for the move. So up a couple of pounds. I'm always reminded of a friend who counted her weight in sticks of butter (sob), lol. So from 160 to 162 is like wearing 8 sticks of butter. Ewwwwwww, that is just gross, but keeps things in perspective for me if I can use that visual. Hanging in there.

Surgery yest. on my left arm. The right arm decided to snack while it had the chance, LOL. Still doing okay though. The medical stuff gets to me and I really crave salty then sweet. Still doing better for the most part on choosing healthy over junk.

Getting hungry for fruit. Carnation instand breakfast is good because I'm not hungry for food in the morning. Three scrambled eggs in the afternoon with cheese. mmmmmmm Feeling more snacky than hungry for full meals lately. I feel the lower belly getting smaller, but still have the apple shape, stomach area remains large. I'll keep working...[color=darkblue]
