Lost 1/2 pound, pleased that despite the travel, the scale continues in the right direction. IT DIDN'T GO UP!!! That's a real victory for me when eating on an expense account. My trip had its challenges, and I won't be wanting a chef salad for a while, since that's all I had for lunch for the entire week...I am SO GLAD to be home and back in the safe harbor of my own kitchen. Next week, I'm off to Boston, but the trip is shorter, just two nights instead of 5.

Well, here I am in Louisville, and it was a whole 17 degrees this morning when I drove to the office. This Florida girl is FREEZING here, but next week I have to go to Boston, so that will probably be even colder...
One of the things I did before I came up here was to request a low-carb option for my lunches. (I'm running training classes for a week, and lunch is being ordered in.) Even though it may seem a pain to those who are hosting the training, it is a small thing for me to ensure I'm taken care of...A salad was provided, so I stripped the turkey, lettuce and tomato off a sandwich and added that to my salad greens, and enjoyed my "chef's salad."
Yep, for today, I will follow my food plan. Even when I can't plan as well, I can still ask for what I need.

Another pound GONE. When that number doesn't feel like "enough", I go to the pantry and pick up a 16 oz. can of beans. That's substantial, considering I don't have to haul it around anymore!
Yes, you can lose weight on SB and eat cheesecake too! (sugar free/wheat free, of course!)

I'm getting ready to take a business trip - always a challenge with food for me when eating on an expense account! I will be in Louisville KY all next week, but plan on checking in on the site when I can.
I'm off to the doctor tomorrow, we'll see how my blood results look after being on my food plan for several weeks, and also will enjoy her face when she sees I've lost a bit of weight! She's my biggest cheerleader!
I am eating the good higher carb foods about 3 times a week - like an apple or a bowl of oatmeal. I've had no brown rice yet, may add that when I get back from my business trip... We've gotten very accustomed now to eating a protein and a couple of different veggies at a meal, I rarely miss the potato or rice. So, I'm cruising along.
