Well, my eating habits are erratic. I am not eating a lot, just too much junk food. I'm still using food as a pacifier in the face of anxiety and boredom. I see this, but I'm not being in the moment when I reach for the chips or candy.

Positives for today:
- I cranked out a proof early this morning after an evening of spinning my wheels over the project. That felt good.
- Mr C brought me 2 donuts yesterday as a gesture of kindness. I ate one, but the taste disgusted me so I threw away the other. I'm telling myself that cake is gross and I don't eat that.
- The old cat we inherited is finally getting used to his new abode on our front porch and finally accepting cuddles from me. I used to terrify him bc I only took him to the vet when his mom was alive. I love cats and dogs. If I had unlimited resources, I'd start a rescue ranch. We now have 4 cats and as Mr C says, we're 2 cats over the line, sweet Jesus.
- Our daughter will be home in 2 weeks. Yay!
