Spent all day on the beach fishing. Had a shredded wheat biscuit and 1/2 C milk before I left. Took an apple and some almonds thinking once it got hot I would leave. Nope 8 hours and lots of sunscreen. It was a slow bite but caught fish and had a nice time. While I’m there my wife calls and said Honey n the way home would u stop at the Burger King and get me a whopper with cheese and a fry? Damn! That sounded good! I drank water all day and really was not hongry. It was food porn. Lol. I loaded my truck up with my surf gear and thought about (dreamed?) about that whopper and fry. That my friend is distracted driving! Worse than a cell phone. I mentally tried to justify it, even thinking about our friends posted image of the whopper with no bread but the fries would killed it. I looked at the nutritional value of the whopper with cheese on the Fat Secret app (yep while driving) and said Hell No!!!!. I got Diane what she wanted and came home got me a frozen Ball Park ground beef patty with cheese and bacon in it and sautéed it then added some pineapple to some coleslaw I made the night before. Then cleaned my fish and gear. It was a long good day. Woke up today and weighed and Bam to the Bam Bam Bam!!! I’m closer to my goal!!! 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Ur right, folks we love around us aren’t intentionally trying to bushwhack us! They being themselves. A very close friend of mine from southern India goes on fasts as part of his Christian faith and and inevitably I will call him up and invite him to go to Dicks Wings, a place we both worship....no eat at!!! He told me every time he fasts I do that.

Great job!! Riding in the car with those bk fries is torture for me now! Lol and I never use to eat fries either so it’s weird

You are a good man - to be able to do what's best for you and please your wife - Bonus Points for you. I have to say I'd have shown up home empty handed and hubby would have had to do without... Good for you!

Resisting is so incredibly empowering. The first time I refused fries and got a side salad instead, I was near tears with pride in myself. It was an odd feeling, but it has become one of my favorite emotions now.
