I went right off the diet and disappointingly gained all my weight back. Somehow I lost my willpower after Christmas. Well all is not lost. I've done it once and I know I can do it again. I just need to start recording my food intake again. This is a discipline that has helped me tremendously in the past. Just by opening up this account again, I'm moving in the right direction. My short term goal is to loose 5 lbs before our cruise (Aug. 28, 2012). My long term goal is to loose 15 lbs by Christmas(152). This may be a bit unrealistic, but my goal can always be modified. After my cruise, I hope to get back to the gym 4x/wk. Before then, I'll take time to just walk and allow some time for my low back pain (on account of dragon boating) to settle down. I want this round of weight loss to coincide with completion of my MSc. While unrelated, it is very easy to gain weight while sitting at the computer...hence the weight loss goals and the need to go to the gym. Recording everything has worked well for me and it WILL work again!! My goal is to record everything for the next 2 weeks and once I'm on a roll, I'll try to continue it as regularly as able for as long as I can (with exception of while I'm on vacation during which time I won't have access to the computer). Baby Steps!!
