Amazing! I am again registering another low. All i did yesterday was get a good night's sleep and work at home and poof...I lost weight. I can't explain it. All I know is that I an close to another mini goal. I will write more later.
Afternoon update:
I don't have a good explanation as to how I lost the weight. I mis-ate (is that a word?) and the next day I was stable. Then yesterday, I had a good lunch and some fried chicken for dinner. In retrospect, I was feeling hungry for protein and the chicken seemed appetizing...it comes with french fries but I didn't touch them. I went to sleep and slept for 9 hours, which was refreshing. I didn't feel slimmer but when I got on the scale I was in disbelief. Now, I have been "regular" the prior two days so that may be the explanation...I truly do not know. All I know is that I am 2.2 pounds away from my next mini goal of 220 lbs. I am 10.2 lbs away from the 2 year low of 212. Once I hit 212, then I will be in uncharted waters...I will be hitting weights I haven't seen since College and High School. Kinda of cool but kind of scary...what about loose skin? How different will I look?
Here are some thoughts of mine for the day:
1) Housework good? - Ok, I have written about housework before. Everyone hates it but it has to be done. In order to enjoy a modicum of cleanliness then you must, at some point, clean up the week's buildup. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc. What is the upside besides cleanliness? WORKOUT type physical activity. I am talking sweating, lifting, wiping type movements. In a weird way I am starting to look forward to housework...it gives me a good workout.
2) Need motivation...get a beat! - When it comes time to do anything, I fins that music gives me a beat to work to. Whether its typing up a report, doing housework, driving to the supermarket or even taking a walk, my music gives me a push in the right direction. I would highly recommend a good pair of earphones and your smartphone/mp3 player accompany you on any tasks...even at work I have my Google play/Pandora streaming songs to me. Makes the day fly by!
