Ate a late dinner and the consequence is a gain. BUT I think overall my trend is down. I look at it as a ceiling and floor. My ceiling has been established at around 216.7 and new floor is 215.7. Today I am going to go to my work Gym and work out. New Phase about to begin. I will write more later.

Morning Update:

Ok, so I worked out for 40 Minutes on the tread mill at the 3.5 speed and did two miles. It felt great and I could have done the full hour but I did not want to be late to work. I decided to weigh myself on the medical scale that they have at the gym. it said I weighed 214.4 (approx)???? Hmm, how could my home scale be off by 2 lbs? I mean did I burn off 2 pounds by hitting the treadmill? I don't get it. Super weird but very happy. The hard part is that while I can hit my home scale everyday, I can only weigh myself at work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I guess I will track this to see how this trends out.

1) Feeling Good - My clothes feel great, I am not straining to close any buttons or buckles, my body feels light and lithe. I am starting to feel athletic. I am getting comments from co-workers and friends saying I look great. Amazing how this is changing my day to day feeling. Now, I am not tying my mental health to a specific number but by how I feel overall. Its a great feeling.

2) Phase 2 underway - My exercise will initially be cardio to burn off the excess weight and then slowly add in weight training to rebuild muscle strength and tone. I see the curent results from the diet and I am happy but I know there is still more left to do. I have fat in my thighs, my chest and some love handle action. My stomach is way smaller now and my body has shrunk. Time to kick it in Phase 2.

3) I'm back BABY! - My journaling took a hit last week due to computer issues and some doubt that was coursing through my head. I am past that. I am going to focus on how I feel as opposed to what the scale says. I trust myself to know that if I feel good then the scale will cooperate sooner or later...

Glad you are back! I was a little worried about you. The scale has been making me nuts too, so I'm doing the same thing, focusing on how clothes fit, how I feel, etc.
