Basically, Curves Diet seems to be the same as South Beach Phase 2 with watching calories intake as well. Curves Diet - Higher Protein Phase 1 takes your calories down approx 1200 per day for one week while still eating some lower GI carbs, and then bumps you back up to 1600 calories until you plateau. Then you go back down to 1200 calories for one week to kickstart your weight loss and back up again.
I went this route because I found the daily food plan to be a little easier for preparing meals. South Beach has great recipes, but I was finding it to be a bit harder for prep - something which I am not used to. As well, I have found that by watching my calorie intake I was able to reduce my fat content each day. I have also been exercising each day (except yesterday) at least a half an hour.
Curves Diet comes from the Curves Fitness Centres we have here in North America. I am not sure if they have them in France. There is lots of information on the internet about it.

There is a curves here and I don't know what their policy is on contracts... If I can pay as I go, I think curves might be a nice way to work out when my heel gets better!
