Wonderful weekend, a couple of good hikes, wine tasting on a beautiful patio with live jazz yesterday. If you were ever thinking of visiting Phoenix, November-April would be the time to do so! It's gorgeous.
Eating high fat has its advantages when out like that. Meat and cheese is easy to find. It still feels like I'm "cheating." I'm still getting used to this new way of eating. I probably went over my carbs with the wine yesterday, but not too bad.
I've been asked to bring stuffing Thursday, isn't that perfect?

Dry wine is not too bad on carbs, less than 4 gms per glass. 1 apple is equal to 5 glasses of wine, so I'm not too worried about it. Oh, and the date was canceled on Saturday night, he hurt his back. That's what happens when I date old chubby guys :-)
