Today the swelling in my knee is down, along with my weight, which is suprising because I definitely went for the comfort food yesterday. I also drank about a liter of Coke Zero, which of course dehydrates a bit. Between that and the steroids I probably lost 2 lbs in the bathroom, LOL! Sadly, the knee pain isn't down, so I'm staying home from work today. Keeping the knee elevated and iced down on occasion is boring, but walking around is difficult so we do what we must. Hopefully I'll be improved enough to return to work tomorrow.
In the meantime, our new Bowflex Treadclimber came in yesterday. My hubby managed to put it together last night (took several hrs - we could have paid an extra $249 for someone else to do it) and got to try it out afterwards. I'll probably be a few days before I can give it a try. I'll let you know what I think when that happens. Today I'm still thinking comfort food, but I'm going to TRY to keep it reasonable calorie-wise.
