I am relieved to finally log in a loss. This has been quite the month of inching upwards little by little. I had lost each month for the past 5 months. Unfortunately this month is an overall gain of 1.4 pounds.

However I reassure myself that for the past 115 weeks (yes 2.2 years!) I have averaged .75 pounds down per week. I do believe in slow and steady wins the race so I am not unhappy with that stat!

My stats do indicate that a few calories can really make the difference. During the 5 months of losing I averaged 1222, 1188, 1167, 1253, 1233 calories daily. This month my average daily calories was 1275. That is the difference between gaining and losing! So that one more little bite can be what is standing in the way of scale success.

Yesterday I made the trek to get my tile - 5 hours round trip. It is in my garage. Today I am expecting the Home Depot delivery and Monday my workers are planning on starting. (or at least sometime next week....!) The basement plan is getting started.

Today I meet my new renter as she comes into town from a city about 8 hour drive south of here. She comes across as a real gem. Unfortunately another renter of mine has given notice for mid December. I will be so glad to have long term people in each unit!
