Choose a tomato-based sauce, not a creamy one. Have a small portion of boiled rice OR a small nam bread, chicken pakora for a starter, and you can relax and enjoy.

Yes rice or nan, not both. And I avoid the sauce and just eat the meat. Enjoy!
