I am so sad 😭. Our son was assaulted and robbed last June. He suffered a significant leg injury as a result. This is a kid who went to school to be an architect, but after 2 years, he came to the conclusion that he just could not sit in an office. He fought wild land fires in the summer and really loved it. So he went back to school to be a first responder/firefighter. Tuesday he went to the surgeon to see if he could return to duty, but couldn't pass the physical requirements. Since he's pushing 40, he doesn't want to go back to school. Things could be worse, but this is a real blow for him. He's tough and smart, so will figure it out, but it's so hard to have your dreams/life snatched from you. Of course, the pieces of garbage responsible weren't caught.
We need a new truck so thought we better get moving before interest rates really take off. I can't believe a 2021 F350 starts at $100,000! Didn't have the guts to look at a 2022 fully loaded one. At least I didn't gain any weight. Didn't lose a single ounce, but didn't gain.
