Just patience. The body pauses sometimes. It is natural. If you can add more activities ... do that

Same here. Very annoying but in my case I am reaping what I sow.

Have you made any change in your habits? When I plateau, as long as I'm sticking with my strategies, I think of it as my body adjusting to a lower weight. Sometimes weight loss is like coaxing a reluctant puppy down the stairs

It is probably just time to cut your portion sizes. Happens to all of us. If you want to weigh 150, you can't eat like someone who weighs 250. Try cutting back your plated portions by a third, and see where that goes.

I sometimes do a water fast for a day or so. It feels good to do that once in awhile anyway.

I don’t eat after two in the afternoon. Not eating at night helps me loose and sleep much better.

I will be honest, I am not a big fan of fasting or detoxes. I would suggest either increasing overall activity (NEAT), as liv suggested, and taking a good look at your portion sizes, as Bananas suggested. Those are really the best long-term solutions. Also, it may be time to reassess items marketed as “low carb.” Just my take. You have made amazing headway - stay the course and this will pass!

I do not necessarily agree with JustBananas here. Cutting down food too much may just backfire. You can go over and make sure you measure correctly etc.... but you should eat sustainably (and I think you do that right now)

Caraken, that’s my secret and it works. Just need to cut the calories down a bit before 2 to get going again. 👍

Yep it really frustrating. The last time I plateud, I bounced back 100lbs because of frustration. Hope it will never happen to you. Some people suggested reverse diet to encounter plateu. Never tried it, so cant say much.

Just be patient. I looked at your food log and if you are logging everything calories coming under 1500 consistently you are on track. Your body is just adjusting to each new set point. I think it is actually good to plateau before you drop more weight. Keep on track !

I had dessert made with sugar and dairy this weekend which my body doesn't care for too much. I had a 3 lb jump, but I am back at it today. Thank you all for your advice. This community support means so much to me.

Personally, I recommend 'a diet that varies caloric intake daily'.
PFC balance is important, but in extreme cases, the biggest factor in weight change is determined by "calorie intake and calorie consumption.
What you need to do to lose weight is to 'figure out how many calories you need to take in to gain weight.
For example, suppose you need 5000 Kcal of caloric intake to gain weight.
With that as the upper limit, the caloric intake is varied daily.
For example, Monday 4000 Kcal
Tuesday 3500Kcal
Wednesday 4000Kcal
Thursday 3000Kcal
Friday 2500Kcal
Saturday 3000Kcal
It looks like this.
This is just an example and needs to be adjusted.
The appeal of this diet is that it allows you to gradually lower your calorie intake limit while maintaining your metabolism.
I know it will be hard on days when my caloric intake is low until I get used to it, but I personally consider it easier than fasting.✨
