Well, day 5 after my gluten "allergy" exploded my guts into oblivion, and I'm nearly human again.
You know it's bad when you can no longer blame your farts on the dog because they happen so often, no one believes you, hahaha!
At least I can laugh about it now. I wasn't laughing the other day. Not really. Now I need to vent, so you can stop reading if you don't care about petty BS (that's drama, not blood sugar, by the way).
Thank goodness I have gotten past the stress eating in my life. Every week, someone in my life gets weird and tests my stress levels and every week, I pass with flying colors. This week, I got called judgmental by one of the most judgmental people I know. Now she's deciding how many weeks she wants to go before she will be "calm enough" to talk to me. I'm thinking to myself, "Lady, if it has be weeks before you can be calm enough to have a chat over you calling me names, then I'm sorry, but I'm done and we can just call the friendship over with." Now maybe I'm the crazy one here, but I don't wait weeks for anyone to come around and have a civil conversation when all that's happened is a minor disagreement. To me, that's something you hash out over the phone the next day, not in 2-3 weeks. By then, I won't even recall what we argued about, for God's sake. I don't have time for drama, and some people in my life refuse to get that.
So that's my brain dump for the day. This particular friend of mine doesn't have a lot of friends, and I'm starting to maybe see why. If she loses me over this, it will be a bummer, but I refuse to be bullied by the silent treatment for 2-3 weeks while she calms down. I'd prefer to have the silent treatment forever and move on. Northern Musician will call this my "all or nothing" mentality, like how I like to have NO pistachios because I cannot eat just 12 of them. Yeah, NM, you're right!
