I'm going back to volumetrics, because low carb alone is not sustainable without craving and binging. Although I'm not focusing on fat content but volume/calories. It's more like the Mayo Clinic or Mediterranean diet. It takes some meal planning, but Ive got the calories and servings and portion sizes figured out on a pyramid so I can eat from all food groups, even have a "treat" once a day if I need it. I was actually having to ADD to my calorie limit, rather than trying to cut carbs out near the end of meal planning, and it's looking rather balanced other than I'll be eating closer to 40% carbs instead of 20-30%.
