This is day three of phase II. I'm enjoying meat now and cheerios for breakfast. I'm having a hard time understanding the book. Can I have meat only once per day or am I allowed once per meal...as long as they are not the same meat? I was loosing a lb a day. Now i'm not. What are you guys loosing per week on phase II?

You can have a portion of meat the size of a deck of cards. You can split this up over 2 meals if you prefer but it's not a whole lot so it depends on what you're having with it. Be prepared, you will not lose as much on Phase 2 b/c you're adding more calories. Also, as much as we'd all like to, we won't keep losing at that rate. I think I lost 3 pounds my first week on Phase 2 but I only added meat to my diet, nothing else. Now, I'm losing about a pound a week but I could be doing more for better results.

I lost 8 lbs on Detox and 2 more lbs on the first week... I've noticed that when you start Phase 2 your weight loss slows down, but then it speeds up after a couple of weeks. ( at least that's the trend ive seen with others...) And, with any diet or weight loss plan, you will always lose a lot at the beggining, and less and less as you go.. Most people also have a period where their weight loss "pleateaus" for a little while.. The best way to over come the plateaus is to decrease your calorie intake a little, and to increase your exercise by like 15 more minutes, and that should help.. Good luck!
