When you don't sleep, you rob your body of the precious time it needs to rest, heal and - theoretically speaking - reboot all functions. I'm not surprised at all by this weight gain!!

I always psych myself out to the point of anxiety/panic over medical tests. This morning's Pulmonary Function test was a piece of cake and I walked home from the appointment!! I really need to learn how to shut my brain off before it goes into overdrive!! On that note...I'm going to try and recoup some lost sleep and then...I will attack that mountain of wood mulch!! LoL

I get to add another 5 hours of intermttent sleep to my 'journal'! wooohoooo LoL but I woke up quite sore and barely able to move, like what the hell is this?? Then I heard it...the unmistakable sound of rain beating staccato againt the window.
My War on Weeds has been granted a temporary reprieval, which I will gladly cherish with a 'Netflix & Chill' on the couch and maybe....some breakfast would be wonderful right about now, as I haven't eaten yet today and it's already 2 p.m.!! LoL

Hello Nadja. You are a pretty amazing individual in my eyes. You persevere through it all and always seem to make all the difficulties sound so therapeutic. How do you do that? I see the enormous project you have ahead of you with all that mulch!!! I honestly don’t know how you do it as it sounds like you have anxiety issues just as I do. It can be paralyzing. Know that I’m here in North Bay cheering you on!!

aaah Mona thank you so much for your wonderfully uplifting comment ♡ There are days that I amaze myself by what I accomplish!! My gardens are my happy place...something about playing in the dirt, immersing yourself in Nature and creating beauty can be a very therapeutic experience! My house, on the otherhand, is a work in progress! 🤨 Panic/anxiety is our brain/body reacting to 'something'. I am learning to listen to what my brain/body is trying to tell me and to train my reactions to those stressors. My panic/anxiety attacks are usually very short-lived now because I can analyse the action/reaction psychology. You see that pile of mulch as a daunting task, I see it as way to win my war on weeds and to get some good hard physical exercise for my body....I am such a weirdo sometimes! LoL
