So, good Monday morning to my FS friends/family. I came back from my mini vacation last week to find that I gained about 7 pounds. Ouch. That is why there was no weigh in last week. However, I lost almost all of it back. We went up to Traverse City and went with a couple friend of ours. However, we didn't make all the best choices. Hit some breweries, went to a new Cider house, but didn't make good on our plans to hit the gym. When we were driving home, my wife and I were very disappointed in ourselves that we just had a couple of hours each day where we were waiting for our friends to say, "Hey! Let's go do something". Every time we waited, they were just on their phones, relaxing. I mean, it was nice to take a break, but I know I paid for it, and I think the wife did too. But, this past week, I made sure to hit the gym hard, and even though I didn't get back to the pre-vacation weight, it sure was darn close. So, I'm quite proud of myself. And my body is telling me that I hit the gym hard, so I know I did what I needed to do.

This week is going to be quite busy. It's time for our yearly fundraiser for MS. We put on a bowling fundraiser every year, and this year we are looking as if we are getting more donations for raffles and more people are going to come. I can't wait, but I know that it is going to be a busy day. Our MS walk is just under 3 weeks away. Hopefully it will be a good turnout this year. We didn't have a lot of people come to the walk last year, it was chilly, but it was fun. This year hopefully will be a little warmer and a better turn out.
