I don't know why I'm going back up :( this is so frustrating. I'm eating the right things. Maybe the quest bars are a bad thing.

IMHO anything that gets ground up and reformed and chemicalized into a brick shape and repackaged for a shelf life of infinity, can't be good for you!

I've heard some people say it they cause them to stall and others they are a benefit. I have one a day on workout days about an hour after getting home. It's my clean cheat treat. Lol those chunks of chocolate in the cookie dough ones are serious!

QuestBars are candy....decent candy, but still candy. The Isomalto... (IMO for short) fiber source they use is not considered a Sugar, however, the IMO is absorbed and produces an insulin response the same as sugar. So what you have is a product that has been manufactured (do you have ever have to add "natural flavors" to things you make), and is using legal definition's to hide behind. Quest is gaming the system, and by eating them, you're doing the same thing, except your body can't be fooled as easily as we can, as it doesn't respond to marketing.

I would look at the amount of protein u are eating. Be careful as excess protein turns into glucose and can sabotage your program

I took a look at your food logs....Excess protein comes to mind, excess dairy. While not sugars, whey will promote an insulin response, essentially locking you into fat storing mode, not fat burning, also...too many calories on many..many days, just far too much food. There is also Ice Cream and Pancakes. You've been on this for many months, with very little progress. Cut down the amount you're eating...you are not giving yourself any time to use any of the fat you have stored. Cut down on the cheese...skip the protein shakes (you don't need them), skip the cheese, I won't beat on the ice cream and pancakes...you know that has to stop. Look to skip breakfast and add in some Intermittent Fasting.

I concur with Mahjohn. It sounds like you are suffering the effects Of Gluconeogenesis. Your body is converting the surplus protein into glucose and in turn your body is spiking insulin to store the glucose as fat. Try looking into a Low Carb, high fat diet. I can almost with 100% guarantee you will lose weight with it. Probably a LOT.
