Wow, what an interesting place to live! I am sure though if I lived there full time I'd just think it was where I live. To us though here in on this side of the pond it is a thrilling place! Welcome and good luck!

We arrived in March for a 3 year tour then it's back to Maryland. It is a thrilling place, so much to experience. There's also so much close by to explore. We're vacationing in Bavaria - what a cotrast to southern Italy! It's a fun challenge to eat local food. Visiting Bavaria, beware - the portions here are very generous! The trick seems to be to order half the the number of entrees for your party. Or skip the food and go for the beer! Then walk, walk, walk.
