I guess I shouldnt have marked that I am on the Paleo diet, although I have heard a little about it, and like the idea. I would call what I am on my own plan. I am not eating anything that comes out of a box or any kind of processed foods for a bare minimum of 21 days. I am eating fruits, veggies, yogurt, meat (trying for lean), one cup of coffee per day with half n half and no sweetner, iced tea unsweetened and lots of water. I'm trying to keep it balanced at 30% protein, 20% fat and 50% carbs because I read that is the optimal balance for weightloss while maintaining health. I am on 2000 or less calories per day, adveraging about 1800. I've done my yoga three times in the last week and a half, I would do it more but on the very morning before I started my first time of yoga I actually pulled a rib somehow. I've been eating ibuprophen a could times a day but the thing is still out a week and a half later. time for the chiro or a good massage.

You sound pretty paleo to me! I'm bouncing between Paleo and Atkins just because in my quest for low carb recipes those two groups rock. On the coffee thing...I just read that two cups or more a day can really lower your risk of heart disease, stroke, Parkinsons and even Alzheimers, and it doesn't matter if it's decaf so it's not the caffeine that's the good stuff. Anyway, I had a pulled rib not so long ago from a bout of coughing when I had bronchitis. I totally emphathize and hope you get better soon.
