I've been on vacation with friends for the last week, so wasn't able to count exact carbs or sugar. What an incredible challenge! My one friend who is tall and thin is an eating machine. Every time I turned around she was eating a cupcake, cookie, brownie or pie. Imagine watching someone eat a skillet of sweet potato, cornbread with maple syrup butter. I wish I had planned better and had packed healthy snacks for myself. Sugarless gum saved me.
It was even more frustrating dress shopping with someone who is wearing the size 10 I want to wear, then munching on key lime pie and not gaining weight. It's just not fair.
I managed to lose 1/2 lb, so I'm happy about that, but pondering my chubby lot in life.
