Day 39: REACHED MY SECONDARY GOAL BEFORE MY PRIMARY GOAL TODAY! I WANTED TO GET UNDER 145LB SINCE THAT HAS BEEN AN IMPOSSIBLE HURDLE FOR ME TO GET BEYOND IN THE LAST 2 YEARS. I SET A GOAL TO STAY ON THIS DIET AND EXERSIZE PROGRAM FOR 6 WEEKS WITH 100% EFFORT. I DIDN'T WANT TO FOCUS ON THE WEIGHT GOAL SINCE THAT IS, IN SOME WAYS, NOT IN MY CONTROL. I FEEL VERY CALM AND CONFIDENT THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO CONTINUE ON THIS JOURNEY AND INTEGRATE THE PRINCIPLES INTO MY LIFE.
DIFFERENT THIS TIME? THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS BEYOND MY CONTROL-I TRAVEL A LOT SO CAN'T DO WEIGHT LIFTING CONSISTENTLY--THIS TIME, I ACCEPT THAT AND VIEW A DIFFICULT SESSION AS PROOF THAT I AM WORKING VS PROOF THAT I AM GOING BACKWARDS--AFTER ALL, IT'S THE EFFORT THAT TELLS MY BODY TO GET MOVING. I DO HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT GOES INTO MY MOUTH--AND I EXERSIZE THAT CONTROL. I DO HAVE CONTROL OVER SELF-TALK AND REGULARLY CONGRATULATE MYSELF. I DON'T TALK A LOT ABOUT MY BEING ON THIS PROGRAM--THAT'S DIFFERENT--I HAVE JUST INTEGRATED IT INTO MY LIFE. I LOVE WHERE I AM!!!
