I was really suprised to see I was 196.8....A few days ago I was exactly 200. Today was really the day I technically was going to start my 1000 calorie diet.... but now I have to reconsider it. For the last week or so I have cut out so much and am just shocked to see this amount of weight loss. I been eating whole grains..legumes... fruit... and veggies... peanut butter/walnuts..whey protein shakes..soy milk..almond milk....and I really have to think about If I want to go so drastic for thirty days or continue to eat well balanced ..I am having results.... I was going to cut out the whole grains and nuts for 30 days. ... a little confused... I will figure it out.. maybe I just dont have to go so drastic.

1000 calorie diet is pretty drastic! Definitely not necessary. Why not take a more moderate approach? Most people eventually find out that they lose weight better with more calories, not less. It seems really counter-intuitive, but I could point you to at least 20 people on this site (including myself) who found out you can eat too little and it doesn't help in the long run!

Yea, I think I will just keep eating how I been eating without cutting back... a week of eating vegan has made me feel great and I probably don't have to make any other changes than the one I have already made with just going vegan..... I went under 1000 calories today, but not on purpose.
