Praise God, the surgeon said I don't need surgery on my shoulder. He gave me a cortisone shot, referred me to physical therapy and said to rest my shoulder. The cortisone shot my shoulder hurt worse. The entire day yesterday my shoulder was hurting and I was up all night last night, because by that time I was in excruciating pain with it and couldn't get comfortable and I have a high pain tolerance

I got 2 Injections In my knee last year first one no issues second one the pain for the next 24 hours was crazy! drastically worse than the pain and why I got it to begin with but thankfully it calmed down again. good luck

I’m having issues also. What was yours treated for? My doc has mentioned cortisone as well. I’ve been doing Physio for weeks with basically no improvement at all.

I don't know exactly what you were dealing with but me & my partner both got frozen should a couple of years ago and we just did exercises for them. It unlocked them and they went back to normal. I still stretch and do my exercises daily

The surgeon said he feels like the pain is from bursitis/impingement and not from the muscle tear

my shoulder was still sore yesterday, but nothing like after I got the cortisone shot. we'll see how pt goes, but my first appt isn't for 2 weeks

Try to let it rest until the inflammation is completely gone, if you possibly can. Shoulders are so complicated it’s difficult for misalignment/ impingement of any sort to resolve if swelling is changing the size and shape of bursas, etc. I’m not a doctor, just experienced with shoulder pain.
