Belize has been awesome. Rainy but ok. Today we went to 2 popular dives, Hol Chan and Shark Alley. The nurse sharks were 6ft long! Saw two giant sea turtles, a huge sting ray and a huge spotted eagle Ray. The barrier reef is a wonderful creation! Thanks to a kayak mishap our first day I am burnt to a crisp. I've been wearing a bikini(I never wear bikinis) my arms look fantastic lol. I need to watch my bread intake and had two big glasses of cab sav last night but overall doing well. Thankfully we swim and snorkel in the mornings.

So I am curious as to the visibility by foot. How clear is the water. I scuba and have never been there. I dove the Barrier Reef, Australia.

Warren- the reef is so shallow for the most part. There were divers there at Hol chan but I couldn't see that they saw too much more than us. They did take us to a deep part and the divers could see under the coral and everything there of course. The visibility was perfect. All the way to the site it was black clouds and rain. We thought we'd get canceled but as soon as we got into the water the sun came out and the rain eventually stopped. I thought the water would be disturbed but no.

My sister owns a house on the beach in Belize. One of these days DH and I are going to go down there. Have a wonderful vacation! How can you not? You are in a tropical paradise!

Misty that sounds amazing....and I told you that you were bikini ready...you worked hard for that.....I hope you enjoyed vacation and had the chance to read up the stuff I gave you....I can't wait to see the pics and go pro footage when you get back.....ill be over....
