Okay, today is the big day, gonna go get weighed in today. My scale at home says I've lost around 5lbs. I definitely feel thinner around my waist.
The hardest part for me is picking a method and sticking with it. I'm not a 100% type of person. I agree with low carb, eliminating rice, bread, sugar. I agree that eating foods high in protein is good for me. They make me fuller and it self regulates my hunger. I also agree with carb cycling/spike days. So I'm gonna try to go at least 80%. It is just too difficult with my busy lifestyle to be 100% anything.
My goal. I think about it every day. This time my number one goal is to reach my goal. That sounds kind of funny, but it has been my experience that I start something, then don't finish it. So I need a goal.
GOAL: Attain a normal bmi. That means a bmi of 18.5 to 24.99. Currently I am 30.86. Basically that is a weight of 125-163 lbs. Another way to look at it is body fat. I figure my lean body mass is 125 lbs and I want to achieve approximately a 20% body fat percentage. That equates to approx 150 lbs. When I reach that goal, I'll see if I am where I want to be.
