Washed the car yesterday, went to the gym did 30 minutes of STEP cardio. I had some refried beans last night. Is that ok? I compared the label to the black bean label and it seemed to be less calories and fat. I'm having a hard time drinking water. I'm going to try harder today. I know Dr. Ian says not to lift weights but I did a little. Does anyone know why we can't lift?

I'm not positive but I think it's because muscle weighs more than fat. If you start out lifting weights, you won't see the weight loss you expect and then will get discouraged and give up. Drinking water from a bottle is easy if you haven't tried it.

I know there are no refried beans or baked beans on EFS but I am sure the are refferring to regular refried beans because the have tons of fat. The nonfat variety isn't bad but they don't clarify....now I am craving them;)

If you want to lift weights I would recommend doing light weights with more reps. That way you'll do more tightening than building muscle mass. And don't do alot. I use 5lb dumbbells and only do 12reps of about 5 different arm exercises 2x. And don't do it everyday, alternate days, or only do it 3 out of 5 days.
