I’ve decided to weigh in once a week, on Friday. I’m back down to 175.5, which feel good. Yesterday, I shifted my eating so that I had a very satisfying dinner in the evening. I was originally trying to stop eating much earlier in the day, but I think eating later might help me avoid the late night snacking. I drank plenty of water, ate lots of fiber and only went slightly over my calorie limit. I don’t go to bed until around midnight, so eating later in the day works okay for me I think. I Indulged in tortilla chips with hummus, but I had it as a late afternoon snack, and had it portioned out instead of eating out of the bag. It felt controlled, and very satisfying, which is pretty big for me. I feel like I ate a lot of food yesterday, and I DID go slightly over my limit, but I think it’s more important for me now to feel satisfied and have control and to feel some positivity in my approach to food.
