Really super quick post...while at work.
Those snacks were the canteen items at the blood drive, so I added an extra bit of walking to 'cover' them. Dinner will be cottage cheese and tuna melt sandwich with some fruit.
Second--my pulse was 60. 3 months ago before I started exercising more regularly...it was 72. My heart is getting stronger and more efficient. The number on the scale hasn't changed, but my labwork and vitals are improving. I'll take that.

So happily--I can log again at work. This makes me happy!!!!
It's funny how not logging during the day really threw me off my game. I got my walk in here at work, and just got done eating lunch--peanut butter and strawberry basil sugar-free jam, along with some raspberries and blackberries.
And I was reading about hidden sugars...and then tracked down this paragraph from the American Heart Association about how much added sugar one 'should' have:
How much is just right?
The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends limiting the amount of added sugars you consume to no more than half of your daily discretionary calories allowance.
For most American women, that’s no more than 100 calories per day, or about 6 teaspoons of sugar. For men, it’s 150 calories per day, or about 9 teaspoons
. The AHA recommendations focus on all added sugars, without singling out any particular types such as high-fructose corn syrup. For more detailed information and guidance on sugar intake limits, see the scientific statement in the August 2009 issue of Circulation, Journal of the American Heart Association.
I've started tracking sugars down--and now need a new breakfast idea. Unsweetened or naturally sweetened greek yogurt.

Got my logging done and walked 2.2 miles!! Feeling my groove coming back...

Not sure what happened there for awhile...
The computer issue threw me off from posting, and the toe injury slowed me down for a little while, but there was more to it than that. I lost my groove for a bit---nice thing---kept to a pretty moderate diet, because I knew I wasn't exercising as much as I wanted.
But I've logged for 2 days now...I'm going to take that.

I was raring to go for about a day---then it rained, I did some travelling, etc. And today was just an off day...for me, for my sister, for my husband, a co-worker mentioned it too...weird.
Here's to tomorrow!!! :0)
