Day off from work, just what I needed to regroup and relax. I am getting alittle burned out working 6 days and so many hours, and still trying to make time for exericise, family and friends.
So the reason I love fatsecret is you can just vent when you feel like it, write everything down and leave it. I hate getting so caught up in the number on the scale, but Today I did a step backed and looked at the big picture, I was looking at a picture of me at 302, and let me tell you it was not a pretty sight. How easy it is to forget how far I have come, and get caught up in the little stupid numbers on the scale.
So here is a list of the differences of the old me and the new me.
Old Me
Looked in the mirror and hated what she saw
Couldn't walk a mile without feet and legs hurting
Wouldn't ever go out, fear of embarrasement and shame
Was surrounded by BIG Walls of fear
Was very self conscious
Always had a Big smile on my face, but was always hurting on the inside
Had big barriers up and never let anyone in
Would just sit around and eat.
New me,
Exercises 6+ plus days a week
Makes choices to eat healthy every day
Can run 5+ miles
Has legs muscles like no other
Has got some big guns in my arms now
Actually has a neck. and no double chin :-)
Is learning to see the true beauty from the inside
Has a Smile and it reflects what I feel inside
Is strong and determined
Doesn't believe in giving up
Feels powerful
Has Confidence :-)
Looks in the mirror and learning to love waht she sees
Exercise isn't even a choice anymore, its a habit that I love

K I need to vent, getting frustrated at the scale' right now they dont want to budge I don't know what is going on. I know i shouln't worry what the scale says, but number always mean so much to me.
Someone told me today it's not the number on the scale that matters, but how you feel!!! Yes this is so true, but UGGG I just want to weight 150. I still have a long way to go and am overwhelmed!!! I know I can do this, even if it mean one week, or one day or one hour at a time.

So I had a Fit-Score test yesterday, strenth, endurace, flexibility. I had my heart-rate and blood pressure taken before my cardio, and then I did 5 minutes of HARD cardio, my heart rate had gone up but my blood pressure had stayed exactly the same. :-) so my heart is in good shape,
I am taking the exercsie light for these next 3 days, my muscles are still sore from all my running and weight training, my body needs a rest.
