So I learned a lot today by making a couple of mistakes. Apparently if I don't cram my morning and early afternoon with protein I am doomed for failure. I never really pieced that together until now. I usually have a gigantic egg white omlette with lots of veggies for breakfast. Well, this morning I gave into my craving for a breakfast with hardly any protein. Then I planned for a higher dinner and so skimped out on calories during the day. Yikes! I ate a salad with no protein. By 2pm I was ravenous. I held off until 4pm and then ended up eating almost anything I could get my hands on.
I have learned from this to 1) Eat the protein for breakfast damn it!
2) Keep my afternoon snack (which has the protein)
3) Don't skimp out on calories in order so "save" them for dinner.
4) Respect my body when it's actually hungry and eat instead of waiting
Ok, moving on then. Tomorrow will be much better.

Pre-planning and recording my days menu is a must. I find that when I do this I succeed with staying within my RDI and it reduces my confusion about what to eat. It also helps me to eat a better quality of food. Amazing how a little change can make such a big difference.

Feeling a little frustrated to be stuck again. This seems to be the way it always goes for me. I don't want to reduce my calories any lower than 1400 per day. Eating less than that and I get cranky and confused. I just don't understand why my body is always stalling.
