Down a pound this week and I'm feeling pretty good! I don't want to say I'm "back on track" because I've adopted the "one day at a time" philosophy. I'm finding that works better for me. I looked at the challenge POSTINGS and it looks like we had some real successes. Nice. Gotta keep it short.

Another day in! It was a crazy day and I didn't get enough calories in. Now, it's late and I need to eat more so I don't mess up my metabolism. This doesn't happen very often. I think I'll make some pastachio pudding.
I've been looking at a lot of graphs lately. They can tell such a story....our bumps in the road and the determination we continue to have. So to get a different look on my graph, I'm thinking of recording weigh ins more often. I'm starting to journal daily so why not record my weight? I like the "wormy" look so I think that's what I'll go after.

OK! I made it through last night without getting up and munching! I feel good about that - it seems once I placed those words on paper, I became 100% more conscious. That's pretty cool! I'm also feeling a lot better since I came back to some good habits. My attitude is much better!
Tonight, I will get my exercise done. I'm back to "Walk Away the Pounds", the 3 mile walk. Next week, I hope to add about 10-15 minutes per day. I don't know why but I really don't like exercise and I don't want to burn myself out. My goal is to get up to 5-6 one hour sessions per week. I like to take at least 1 day off per week.

One of my really, really bad habits is getting up in the middle of the night and eating. I got away from the habit for quite awhile but I noticed that within the last few weeks it changed. I think I got up a couple times last week and a couple times the week before. The bad thing is, a lot of the time I don't remember. And then I just realized that I did it again last night! I raided the Easter basket! Of 3 mini candy bars! I removed everything in sight that's high calorie. And then I cooked some hard boiled eggs (just in case).
Other that that, I think I'm doing OK. I'm exercising 50 minutes daily, and reading a lot - i.e journals and the links suggested in them. And, I'm journaling! I have a calendar and motivational signs in front of my computer that are always visible. I'm finding this helpful as I am very visual.
Once again, another great race is underway. And judging from the entries at the main post; we have many, many committed people. It will be interesting to see the end result. Good luck to all who entered.
