I am so happy to lose another 2 lbs. This dress shopping has continued to be difficult. My body proportions just don't match the ideal woman for whom designers make dresses. I've been trying find ways to enjoy how much weight I've lost and feel good about me. Even though I can't find a dress that flatters my odd shape. Something I need to work on...

Congrats on your loss this week. And, I agree that the fashion business is set on a certain shape. I can't find slacks that fit my bottom heavy shape...and find dresses/skirts are a better look. Perhaps look for a suited skirt rather than a dress - and look for separates instead of a "suit". That way you can buy the top/bottom to fit your shape. Good luck!!
