THIS IS MY 2 WEEK CHECK-UP! INDUCTION WEEK 3: DAY 1 Finding it very easy to say no to sugars/carbs, a little more difficult re my salt consumption. After cutting back on sodium I noticed that all canned foods seem SOOO salty. But, due to my budget, I will need to finish up what I have purchased. I will just be sure to spread them out so that I won't eat a ton of salt at once. It is amazing how quick your tongue/brain can be changed to recognize extremes. (extremely salty/sweet)I had been eating so much salt before that no matter how much I added to my food, it was never salty enough for me. Now, I can really tell a difference and it is worth the effort to cut-back (not cut-out!)

I have also decided to add 1/4 cup fresh organic cilantro and 1/4 cup fresh organic parsley to every salad I eat. This is supposed to help move out toxins released by fat loss. They say if you don't get rid of the toxic stuff, that it recirculates back into blood. Plus, it tastes great!
My water goal of 100-150 oz per day has fluctuated daily. I am no longer dehydrated at ALL. This goal has been good,for many parts & systems of my body...but, it really takes an effort to remember to drink water as I am rarely thirsty. Long post...for 2 week check up.
