I jumped on the scale this morning, feeling bloated after a night of wine with "the girls". Nope, must have been dehydrated, it read 158.6. I'm not recording it as an actual weight, though. Still, it was nice to see a drop in the number : ) I still have to record my food and wine from last night. May not be easy as I wasn't really keeping track, just nibbling mindlessly for the most part. Healthier snacks, but calories are still calories - cut up veggies, walnuts, almonds, craisins and flax pumpkin granola, an assortment of cheeses and a few crackers. Could have been worse! And got lots of compliments from my friends, too. That felt nice. Now...to get my still slightly hungover self into that room to work out!
yuck. Okay, clearly I'm not used to drinking much wine these days. My workout felt tough, like on the edge of nausea. Or maybe not even that kind of feeling. More of the way you feel inside when you're expended. That'll teach me! : ) So besides the additional calories from wine in excess, the next day is a tougher-than-usual work out. That's okay. That sort of reinforced the idea that this dieting and exercising lifestyle aren't a great mix with overindulgence : ) Hey, I'm only 50 - I'm still learning...
