Thoughts on Yesterday: It was a really weird day...its much easier to follow the plan when I'm at work or not running around doing errands. On "normal" days, I have breakfast around 6:30-7. AM snack at 9. Lunch at 11:30. PM snack around 2 or 3. Dinner before 7. Yesterday, we had breakfast around 8. Then we went grocery shopping and ran a couple other errands. We finally got home at 12 and I had plans to meet a friend at the gym at 12:30. I probably should have had my lunch since I usually have lunch at 11:30 but I wasn't hungry at all. I also thought it probably wouldn't be very good to eat very much right before I work out. I just had a celery stick with nothing on it and a huge glass of water. I went to the gym and worked my bum off!! It felt so good...I signed DH and I. For $5 more, we get 2 hours of child care a day for DD while we work out. I'm super excited! I did weigh myself while I was there but I'm afraid to make it my "official" weigh in (lost 2 lbs!). I'll wait til tomorrow since it will be 1 week since I started.
Today, was DD first day of kindergarten. I was so proud of her! She was so excited to be there. I, on the other hand, as a mess. I didn't cry when I dropped her off. We had about 30 minutes until the bell rang so she played with all the kids on the playground. We walked over to the line we were suppose to meet her kindergarten teacher. DD was like "Okay, bye mama!" I gave her a big hug and kiss and told her to listen to the teacher. Then, I walked around the corner and peeked in on them until they walked to their classroom. I started to get the big lump in my throat- which means I was about to cry! I made it to my car without crying but as soon as I called DH to tell him I just dropped her off, I did. WAAAHH! I can't wait to pick her up this afternoon to hear all about it...
Breakfast: 2 muffin quiche things (recipe in SBD book)
AM Snack: 2 celery sticks, one with LF Laughing cow cheese. the other, without. W/o the cheese was pretty gross. The celery had a bitter taste to it. I don't know if I didn't wash it off good enough.
Lunch: Salad with grilled chicken and the olive/tomato salsa from saturday night's dinner
PM Snack: 30 Pistachio- ETA: I didn't eat my PM snack.
Dinner: Thinking of taking DD to Chik-Fil-A as a treat for her first day of school (its her fave place to eat). I'll probably end up eating a chicken salad...again... ETA: DD decided she wanted to do McD's. I had a Southwest Chicken Salad. Workout: Probably will just do some weights at home. Nothing big. Tomorrow will be meeting my friend again at the gym.
