today is a recovery day. oh what to do with myself?! yesterday i checked my blood pressure and hr on a machine at CVS. my heart rate = 42 at 11 am in the morning. pretty good. getting back in cycling shape.

this week is my first week of strength training 2x a week vs 1x. It feels good to do weight work. i haven't weighted myself in weeks. the scale has run out of battery. overall feel good. still get frustrated with my belly gut and big arms but will focus on strength training. i'm getting strong on the bike but i do get tired.

today is a new day. had a fun weekend. rode my mountain bike & road bike. Did have sugar (mom's bday on friday & sat/sun had coconut ice cream). overall ate well ; didn't track food this weekend. still have a hard time losing pounds. Goal this week: drink lots of water!
