I feel like I'm stuck in a 133 pound rut. I'm trying out some different things like making different ingredient choices to try to do little things to improve the nutrition of what I eat. Bought some whole wheat pasta, and tried making muffins. I tried making some healthy muffins today, using various recipes for inspiration and they were totally not sweet. The batter turned out fine they were moist, they had NO flavor. My "healthy" muffin endeavor will need some jam to not be a total waste. Lame. And my doughnut obsessed boyfriend stopped by my house to deliver me a doughnut. I am grateful he thinks about me and wants to do something nice during the middle of his workday, but I just wish it was something more diet conducive like a cup of coffee or smoothie or something other than deepfried fat. Deep fried fat that's oh so tempting. I ended up eating half which I consider an alright compromise, as half of the doughnut was worth 2 points, an amount that can be bargained, and I still stayed under my 21. I know the end of the week will include pizza and beer, so I'm going to try to eat tomorrow, and friday or today and friday depending on the timing of this post, so that my points won't totally be blown. More beer on saturday though, so I may have to adjust next week to pay for it too. arg.

I caught this awful cold bug and have been sick now for over a week. I am finally starting to feel like I have more energy. Despite having the cold I worked out three times last week, maybe wasn't the best idea, as I was exhausted for the two days after the final workout, but I was so irritated at having my workout schedule impeded by this cold. Still on the fence about whether I should push it today. I really want to be better, and to get back to my normal schedule, because I feel like I'm seeing results so slowly. I retook the WW points quiz just to make sure I was in the right target as I haven't seen dramatic results like I would like, and found out I am in the right target zone. So I've decided to be more careful and try to eat better things to fill the points, and maybe try to stay under the point allotment. I'm frustrated because I've in total lost about 10 pounds even from the very start of my diet, but my weight history doesn't show that. The other thing that is frustrating, is about this time week 3-4 in my cycle I start retaining water, and that takes about a week to readjust again, so I have to tolerate the scale going up a little even though its water weight, not me being lax about my diet and exercise. Sometimes I get really frustrated with my body!!
